It’s official the legendary Rev. Dr. Jasper Williams, Senior Pastor of Salem Bible Church (Atlanta, Georgia) is set to deliver the Eulogy at Aretha Franklin’s on August 31, 2018 at 10am, Greater Grace Temple in Detroit, Michigan. Rev. Williams said, She asked this of me before she passed. I feel like I’m carrying out an order that only the Queen gave and I as a subject am to respond fulfilling the Queen’s last request (statement via drjosepwilliams IG)
She is to be laid to rest at Detroit’s Woodlanwn Cemetery following the services. There is a public viewing August 28-29 at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Midtown (viewing time 9am to 9pm each day).
