Since I was a young lad (lol) I have always loved luxury brands with one being MCM Worldwide. truthfully, hands down I wanted an MCM leather back pack to show off at school to be proven as one of the elite. Some of my favorite celebrities have been spotted wearing MCM such as: LL Kool J, Chris Brown, Lil Kim, Missy Elliott, Mary J Blige to name a few.  And Guess what? A moment for the history books is about to commence in a hybrid type of fashion.

Elevation of the culture into the future continues when streetwear meet luxury combined for the perfect match. It is exciting to learn that BAPE and MCM Worldwide have connected to produce an exclusive capsule collection to debut on Saturday, October 26, 2019.  We were recently given a single sneak peak via social media of a model wearing a white t-shirt with a camouflage Ape Head embossed in the MCM Worldwide logos throughout.

According to Hypebeast.com, Expect to see similarly hybridized motifs throughout the range, which will include an identically-patterned tracksuit, a Baby Milo sweater — complete with cognac and brown MCM tones — and various other tees and accessories. BAPE’s Shark graphic will grace various MCM leather goods, including a backpack, weekender bag and large & mini wallets, finished with premium touches like gold metal hardware, black leather piping and a small co-branded metal plaque.
