NEW to OWN TV, Ava DuVernay’s “CHERISH THE DAY” Coming February 2020

Cherish-the-Day

The word Love has always been at the center of my world from since I can remember.  Yes, I do realize love is not always perfect; however, there is a beauty to be loved and to be in love. Love heals, affirms and is contagious the moment you encounter the fragrance of real love. There is something magnetic about the presence of love, which drives out the fear of doubt. You just want to live in the warm security of the moment to cherish the day.

The year 2020 is already shaping up to be a year to remember as life will come into full focus. It was exciting to discover the prolific screenwriter and film director, Ava DuVernay has created for the OWN network a new anthology series called Cherish the Day set to debut in February 2020.

According to www.oprahmag.com  Ava is a visionary storyteller,” Oprah said in a statement. “She brings so much care, so much heart, so much love to the art she creates. I’m excited to continue collaborating together with our very first anthology series for OWN.

In my opinion there is no screenwriter like Ava DuVernay.  I can only imagine the amount of emotional roller coaster we are about to embark upon watching this series.  And you know what,  I am so ready for the ride.

When reading the www.multichannel.com review it says, The Ava DuVernay-produced series chronicles the relationship of one couple, with each episode spanning a single day. The narrative will unfold to reveal significant moments in a relationship that compel us to hold true to the ones we love, from the extraordinary to the everyday, according to the network.

Black love is beautiful and I believe we all cherish the day to be in its presence either romantic or platonic. It’s evident actors Alano Miller and Xosha Roquemore embody the purity and vulnerability of romanticism required to express the essence of when two meet.

OWN network recently shared the trailer for the new anthology. Click below to watch!
