For the second time around, the Miss USA crown goes to District of Columbia.

Kara McCullough on last evening became the 66th Miss USA with an emotional crowning by last year’s winner Miss District of Columbia 2016 Deshauna Barber.

There is no doubt I look forward to the Miss Universe competition.  In spite of her controversial statement regarding Healthcare.  I do believe McCollough a brilliant and strikingly beautiful woman of color will certainly leave an indelible mark during her reign as Miss USA and potentially Miss Universe.
